2. Orders and Payments
2.1 Placing an Order
By placing an order through our website, you are offering to purchase the goods subject to these Terms. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
2.2 Order Confirmation
Once you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This email confirms that we have received your order but does not constitute acceptance of the order. A contract for the sale of goods between you and us is only formed when we dispatch the goods.

Payment for goods must be made at the time of ordering. We accept payments through various methods as specified on our website. All payments are processed securely via Shopify’s payment system.
3. Shipping and Delivery
3.1 Dispatch Times
Orders are usually dispatched within 48 hours, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. During peak periods, dispatch times may be extended. Products with longer manufacturing times will have this detail specified on their product page.
3.2 Delivery Timescales
Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. We aim to dispatch orders promptly, but unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. The Home Office Co. reserves the right to dispatch orders as and when ready.
3.3 Delivery Address
It is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery address provided is accurate. We are not liable for extra delivery charges resulting from incorrect addresses.
3.4 Failed Deliveries
For UK and Ireland orders, if delivery fails and the goods are returned to us, we will notify you to arrange re-delivery at your cost. For international orders, if delivery fails or is refused, we will not arrange re-delivery and will process a refund minus relevant shipping and re-stocking fees.
3.5 Delivery Timing
Delivery is generally within 48 hours of dispatch but may take up to 30 days. We do not guarantee specific delivery times. Next-day delivery services are not guaranteed, and we are not liable for delays.
3.6 Delivery Confirmation
You will become the owner of the goods once they are delivered to you, a designated neighbour, or a safe place you have agreed upon.
3.7 Delivery Issues
If you wish to dispute a non-delivery or report issues, please contact us with proof of delivery details. An administration fee may apply for processing disputes.
3.8 Assembly and Carry-In Service
Any assembly or carry-in service must be pre-booked and agreed upon via email.
4. Returns and Refunds

If you wish to return an item, please notify us within 14 days of receiving your order. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. Bespoke products are non-returnable.
4.2 Refunds
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned items. Shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases where the goods were faulty or incorrectly described.
5. Damaged Goods
5.1 Reporting Damage
Report any transit damage within 24 hours of receipt. Provide video evidence of packaging and product damage to support your claim. Failure to provide video evidence may invalidate your claim.

6.1 Reporting Loss
If you have not received your order within 7 days of the shipping confirmation, please notify us in writing. We will assist in locating the shipment but are not liable for delays caused by couriers.
7. Liability
7.1 Incorrect Deliveries
If the goods delivered are incorrect or damaged, notify us within 7 working days of receipt or expected delivery. We will endeavour to correct the issue but are not liable for any consequential losses.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
